POLISHED BRASS
The flawless finish of Polished Brass is a testament to the skill of our craftsmen. Achieved through a series of precise polishing techniques, raw brass is transformed into a mirror-like surface that exudes timeless elegance. If left untouched, polished brass will develop its own unique patina over time, but with regular polishing, it will maintain its bright, mirrored factory finish.
BRUSHED BRASS
One of our most loved finishes, Brushed Brass is expertly hand brushed to achieve a warm matt appearance and a soft, silky texture. A gentle glow enhances its understated elegance. While some customers appreciate the evolving nature of living finishes, others prefer to retain the original factory look. To meet these needs, Brushed Brass is protected as an ‘enduring finish’, maintaining its beautiful tone for years when cleaning instructions are followed.
CARE & MAINTENANCE
POLISHED BRASS
If customers wish to retain the polished finish, regular maintenance with a metal polish, such as Brasso, and a soft cloth will help maintain the high-gloss appearance. To prevent tarnishing, we recommend applying a light coat of beeswax after cleaning. Should limescale need to be removed, it is essential to use a proprietary limescale remover, following the manufacturer’s guidelines. Avoid leaving the solution on the product longer than the instructed timescale, as this can cause damage to the finish. It’s important never to use abrasive solutions or materials for cleaning, as they can harm the finish.
